What is Remote Lock?
Forget to lock your computer? It’s difficult to quickly secure your workstation when you’re physically away from your workstation.
Remote Lock enables you to lock your computer from anywhere using the HYPR Mobile App.
How to Use Remote Lock for Windows and MacOS Computers
Note: To use Remote Lock, your computer and smartphone must both have an active internet connection.
Two Methods to Remotely Lock a Workstation
Method 1
Open the HYPR Mobile App on your smartphone.
Tap the icon for the workstation that you want to lock.
Click Yes in the presented dialog to confirm that you want to lock the workstation.
Success. Your workstation has now been securely locked from your smartphone.
Method 2
Open the HYPR Mobile App on your smartphone.
Press and hold the icon for the workstation that you want to lock.
When the menu appears, select Lock Computer.
Success. Your workstation has now been securely locked from your smartphone.
